Your First Visit to Our Harrisburg Practice

first visit imageWhat can you expect from your first visit to Becker Chiropractic? 

Health History

You can expect a friendly welcome at the front desk where you will sign-in upon your arrival.  There will be paperwork to fill out. You may have additional forms to complete if required by your insurance company.  The front desk staff will make a copy of your insurance card(s) and a copy of a photo ID.  Any questions you have will be gladly answered by our friendly staff. 

Consultation and Chiropractic Examination

Once all forms are completed you will be escorted to the exam room for a complete consultation and orthopedic/neurologic examination to help us achieve a thorough past history of your condition and current evaluation.  You will then view a short educational video on the importance of chiropractic care. (Sorry there is no popcorn to go with it. Ha! Ha!) 

Chiropractic Care Begins

Immediately following the video you will transition to the adjustment area where you will be greeted by Dr. Becker and await your first adjustment.  Dr. Becker will review your paperwork and discuss your condition and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Following your first adjustment you may proceed to the therapy room for ice and/or heat as well as intersegmental traction to aid in your healing process. After therapy you will be directed to the front desk for scheduling your follow-up appointment and pay your expected amount which is due at the time of service.

We appreciate if you allow approximately 1 hour for your first visit and approximately 15-30 minutes for subsequent visits.

Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
